Let Love Carry You

 

Let love carry you where it will

Along the currents of the vast universe

Countless marvels to behold

Do not struggle

Fear will not keep you from your destiny

But you will miss the splendor 

Of this precious life

Who Asks

 

Who speaks to me

In quiet words

Whispered in my soul

Who guides me sure 

Across my days 

With wisdom kind and pure

Who comforts me

And lets me see

The wonders beyond fear

Who finds me

No matter where I go

And stays beside me near

I know not

And yet I do

So why need I to wonder

The answer given

Is the same each time

Who asks, my heart,

Who asks

New Growth

 

Like a child holding its mother's hand

New growth confidently emerges at branch's end

Dancing with joyful abandon

Safely held

Touch

 

Touch

Touch this

This too

Touch everything that comes within your reach

Touch it with compassion

Touch it gently

With the vastness of your being

Touch it sweetly

With the love that sings your soul

Every Breath

 

Every breath

is Life's tender caress

of Love

Truth Is Ever True

 

Your belief does not make Truth true

Truth is ever true and can be nothing else

All else is false and cannot be made true by thought

So believe or do not believe

It does not matter

Truth shines ever radiant

Seen clearly by the soul

Unencumbered by mind's need to know

Shadow Crows

 

Shadow crows

Darting through the fog

A raucous symphony

In the mist

Another Way

 

There is another way

You won't find it in a book

Or at a workshop

You won't find it by following someone else

Because no one can take you there

There is no map and no direction

It can't be taught or learned

You cannot find it anywhere

Because there is nothing to be found

Yet the moment you give up 

     everything you want

          everything you hold onto

               everything you think you know

The moment you give up searching

At that moment of total surrender

It will find you

Autumn Beauty

 

Leaves paint autumn beauty

Yet trees still let them go

Knowing that life demands release

That breath cannot be held

The Liminal Space of Possibility

 

Sitting by the fire

In the dark early morn

Watching out the window

As shadows emerge from blackness

Shadows becoming trees

As light seeps into the forest

The sun will be here later

Now is the time of in between

The liminal space of possibility

The secret taste of sweet unknown

It Is Done

 

It is done

All efforts have failed

"Effort" will inevitably fall short

In our quest to contain the infinite

Entering the In Between

 

Arising in darkness

As summer's light fades

Entering the in between

Where mystery beckons

"Come"

So Blessed

 How have I been so blessed

To have this life

To be life

Released from all knowing

Falling gratefully

Into the current of the infinite

All Is Known in Love

The soul knows not of time

It has no measure for success

Nor does it fear

For what is there to fear

In the realm of truth

Where division disappears

And all is known in love

Live the Seeing

I cannot tell
What I now see
I have not words
It matters not
It matters only that
I live the seeing

Nature's Cotton Candy

Wild rhododendron

Splashing pink in the forest

Cotton candy fun

Heard Only in the Heart

The words are spoken in silence
Heard only in the heart
Do not doubt what they reveal
More real than any heard in mind
Trust the truth of what is known beyond knowing
And do not be misled by thought
That seeks to hold illusion
Be thou thus ignited 
With what has always burned
Deep

Morning sun
Casts tree star shadows
Light and dark dance in dewdrops
Embracing as lovers do
Joyful in the green

What Is Left

What is left to say

when all is silent

What is left to grasp

when all is released

What is left to believe

when all is surrendered

What is left to fear

when all is love

What is left to be

when all is one
